A new beta version of the Nintendo GameCube emulator Dolphin has been released.
Source:
http://emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=41879
Last year the Dolphin Beta testing team (CKemu/Chaoscode/Knuckles) already posted shots of Dolphin 1.03.2 x64 which also has dualcore support.
Original thread link: http://emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=39432
Well finally you can test this version aswell, however there are a few general notes:
- Remember that this version is a PRIVATE BETA version.
- This means it is less stable than Dolphin 1.02, USE AT OWN RISK.
- This version requires a 64bit operating system (either Windows XP64 or Vista64)
- SO IT WILL NOT WORK ON A 32BIT OS (GOT THAT?)
- The graphics/audio plugins haven´t been upgraded.
- Due core changes some games might run better, some might run worse or not at all
- Speed is now CPU dependant, dualcore is obviously helps a lot.
Quote from Chaoscode: “SSBM is 100% playable with 100% speed on my crappy computer.”
Enjoy this Public beta testing release, and…
don´t forget to thank ector & F|RES in this thread!
COMX is a new emulator of the COMX-35 computers for Windows.
My emulator emulates the fairly unkown COMX-35 computer from the early 80s and also some other 1802 based machines like the Cosmac Elf, Studio II and Cidelsa.
Current version is 0.8.3 and I´m still working on improvements, mainly on additional HW support for the COMX like disk support, printer and other.
Marcel van Tongeren is creating a COMX emulator in the C++ language based on the COSMAC ELF emulator written by Mike Riley, with some help of me and Barend Scholtus. Sound is working now (MUSIC, TONE and NOISE command) and even known bugs from the past are reproducible. Speed can also be adjusted now so you can boost the speed of the COMX beyond 2.813 MHz ! The emulator can be downloaded here or by clicking on one of the COMX-screens above.
Also PLOAD, PSAVE and even a Turbo version are build in already at this moment. That way we can load and save programs that are originally stored on cassette tapes just like in the good old days. On the Games and Programs pages you can download .COMX-files with all kinds of software made for the COMX. With version v0.83 of the emulator you can load them not by using the PLOAD command, but with the ‘Memory LOAD’ button. I will keep you informed when there is more information available or a new version of the program so keep checking this page…
With the files that will be made of other hardware ROM’s it may be possible in the near future to add more functionality to the emulator like disk drive support and printing. For the disk drive controller, expansion box and RAM Card there are already ROM’s available. We are working very hard on these options and will keep you informed ! When you have an expansion card in your possession that is not build-in yet, like the voice synthesizer or printer card, please contact me.
By the way, in the emulator are also modes and ROM’s available for the Elf, Studio II and Cidelsa systems !

DOSBox-Daum-Cafe released a new DOSBox test version for Windows.

Windows build is available.
1. Removed HU104 due to the change of keyb structure
2. Direct3D works fine.
3. Fixed some other bugs.
The ROM manager clrmamepro has been updated to version 3.104.
3.104

The Atari 2600 emulator Stella was released in version 2.4.
Stella release 2.4 for Linux, Mac OSX and Windows is now available. Ports to other operating systems will be released as they become available. A partial list of features is:
* Added new video sub-system where fullscreen and windowed modes are treated differently. Windowed modes now use ´-zoom_tia´ and ´-zoom_ui´ arguments, while fullscreen modes can be specified by resolution using the new ´-fullres´ argument.
* Widescreen video modes are now supported; Stella will simply center the image with surrounding black borders.
* Many UI-related changes, including resizable ROM launcher and debugger windows, and a new UI palette (the previous ´classic´ palette is still available). This is still a work in progress.
* The locations of all major config files (statedir, palette file, cheat file, properties file, etc) are now configurable from the commandline and within the UI.
* Updates to TIA palette support. Added SECAM support, and removed the built-in ´original´ palette. Standard, z26, and user are still available.
* Various bugfixes to some debugger commands. The ´run´ command no longer causes a crash, and several others have better error-checking.
* Added more complete cartridge auto-detection for Commavid (CV), 3E, 3F and Activision (FE) formats.
* Removed XStart and Width ROM properties, since the forthcoming TIA rework won´t be using them.
* Reworked internal storage of ROM properties to be faster and take up less space.
* Added several different ways of stretching the OpenGL image to the ´-gl_fsmax´ argument, for more flexibility.
* Removed OpenGL aspect ratio setting favour of the previously mentioned video changes. We´ll see how this goes.
* Removed dirty-rect support from software rendering, since it was actually sub-optimal in Windows and OSX and defaulted to off in previous versions.
* Added support for gzipped ROMs.
* Re-added pause support.
* Re-added support for Windows 98.
* Removed support for ´STELLA_BASEDIR´ environment variable, since each config file can be now configured separately.
* Removed ´-fastscbios´ argument, since it must always be turned on.
* Removed PSP support, since it hasn´t been updated in over a year, and someone else is maintaining another port elsewhere.
* For the Unix/Linux port; fixed ´make install´ issues, and changed icon to PNG format.
Have Fun!
